Gambia: UNESCO/ISESCO Officials End Visit

A six-man delegation from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO) last Thursday ended a one-week visit to The Gambia.

The delegates were in the country to explore ways and possibilities of setting up a science and technology park in the country and to assess the potential for The Gambia to set up the aforementioned project. The project, if successful, will be the country's first Science and Technology Park to be established as part of the relentless drive towards the realisation of the vision of UTG's development agenda in The Gambia.
