Sierra Leone: 'If We Go to School, We Can Develop This Fine Country'

Freetown — The Ministry of Education launched a new initiative last Thursday for 'community sensitization for education for out of school and vulnerable children'. With support from UNICEF and other partners such as Action Aid International, World Vision and Chibuzor Human Development Organisation, this project puts words into action - helping communities and parents understand the need for quality education for their children.

Education is more than just getting children to school. It is about keeping them in school and making sure that they learn the skills for success that every child needs - and deserves.
