Nigeria/Equatorial Guinea: Equatorial Guinea Live to Fight Again

Finally, the much awaited opportunity for the Super Falcons to avenge their 2008 African Women Championship semi final exit against Equatorial Guinea offered itself yesterday as the two countries qualified for the final of the 2010 edition which comes up Sunday, 1.00pm Nigerian time.

Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea overcame their semi final foes yesterday. Nigeria set the ball rolling after claiming a 5-1 rout of Cameroun in the first semi final played at the Sinaba Stadium while Equatorial Guinea silence the Banyana Banyana with their vociferous supporters when they beat the host 3-1 to reach their second consecutive final.
