Nigeria: Jonathan Names Liberty Stadium After Awolowo

Abeokuta — For the first time, Ogun State security agencies was at its peak yesterday as President Goodluck Jonathan paid a two day working visit to some cities in the state with a promise that he would continue with the visionary leadership quality of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

Jonathan's visit to the state also witnessed a courtesy call on wife of late Awolowo, HID Awolowo in Ikenne where he announced the naming of the Liberty Stadium, in Ibadan, Oyo after the late astute politician.
