Gambia: Thione Balago Seck, Others in Weekend Action

The renowned Senegalese mbalax star, Thione Balago Seck and his 'Raan Daam Band' is currently in The Gambia for a mega musical concert and gala night on Saturday November 20 at Kairaba Beach Hotel and at the Independence Stadium the following day.

The theme of the events is: Operation Promote Excellency in the Science (OPES) and are going to be held under the Distinguished Patronage of His Excellency The President Sheikh Professor Alhagie Dr Yahya Jammeh. The aim is to promote excellence in the sciences.

Organized by the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA), the events will feature other Senegalese start like the rising Senegalese mbalax sensations, Wally Balago Seck, Daba Sey, Aby Ndour, Ma Sane -Waflash and Gambian stars, Yusupha Ngum, Sambou Suso, the golden voice of manding, Singateh aka Freaky Joe, and Pa Omar Jack aka Mr Fish and Chips.

The mega concerts will witness new hits from these renowned stars who are set to take centre stage to thrill their Gambian fans with their new hits. Remember is the coming of Thione Balago Seck and his band. Make it a date and don't miss out!
