Gambia: Zone Four Nursery School Teachers Trained

More than Sixty nursery school teachers in Zone 4 recently benefited from a one-day training workshop on environmental preservation at the ABC Nursery School in Ebo Town.

Speaking to the Daily Observer, Deacon Emmanuel Omorodion, coordinator of Zone 4 and vice president of the Association of Early Childhood Education, described the training as important, and highlighted the need for the children to know how to take care of the environment in order to avoid diseases, and informed that the association will continue to organise the training to sensitise people about the importance of environmental issues. He urged teachers to disseminate the information to their pupils.
