Uganda: Lubega Expected Back From the UK

Independent presidential candidate Samuel Lubega was last night expected back in the country from the United Kingdom where he reportedly travelled to meet supporters and officials of the British Westminster Foundation. An aide, Eng. Boney Mukuye, yesterday said Mr Lubega left the country on Saturday on an urgent mission to the UK to meet friends and brief them on the progress of the campaigns.

He said the media has ignored Mr Lubega, making it important for his friends in the Diaspora to be given a true picture of what is on the ground.
