Namibia: Swakop's New Municipal Office Branded by 'Old' Council

TO make sure their names are 'immortalised', the 'old' Swakopmund council have unveiled the stone plaque (bearing their names) of the new - unfinished N$70 million municipal complex on Friday.

"This municipal office complex was inaugurated by her worship the Mayor of Swakopmund ... and council members on 19 November 2010 (Friday)", is what the plaque says on a building that will only be fully completed after a new council comes into power.
