Lagos — It is no longer news that the oil and gas petroleum bill was submitted to the National Assembly in 2008.
What is news is the fact that the Petroleum Industry Bill is still shrouded in secrecy leading to fears that contrary to the initial assurance that the Bill will correct all the anomalies currently bedeviling the nation's oil and gas industry, some of the amended versions ready for passage by the National Assembly , may compound the already worrisome situation the industry has found itself.
