Nigeria: Dangote Targets 20 Million Tons of Cement By 2011

The president and chief executive of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has said that the company is targeting a production capacity of 20 million tons of cement in Nigeria by July 2011, accounting for more than 50 per cent of the entire market share.

He made the remarks when the Minister of Finance Olusegun Aganga visited the Obajana Cement Plant, the largest cement plant in sub-Saharan Africa on a facility tour.
