Even though he did not emerge as the consensus presidential candidate, Kwara State Governor Bukola Saraki has carved a niche for himself as a charismatic and courageous leader with a more promising future.
Given the huge influence which he has so far weighed in the pursuit of consensus arrangement for the North, the Kwara-born politician has further confirmed his personality as a Northerner, widely accepted and regarded in the scheme of Northern equations. This is notwithstanding the fact that he bears a Yoruba first name and probably does no speak Hausa, the lingua franca of the North.
