Nigeria: Shekarau - I'm Not a Desperado

Kano — Kano State Governor Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau says he is not desperate to become Nigeria's president, pointing out that what he is after is to ensure that the country gets the good leadership desired to forge ahead.

Shekarau disclosed that Nigerians must identify with credible people to lead them, regardless of any platform, emphasizing that he has decided to contest for the 2011 presidential election to prove to the citizens of this country that indeed there are good people who can serve them.
