Nigeria: Nation Loses N200 Billion Yearly to Adulteration of Lubricants

Economic loss caused by the use of counterfeit and adulterated lubricants to the Nigerian economy has been put at about N200 billion per annum, besides the catastrophic health implications of these products.

This was disclosed in Lagos by stakeholders in the lubricant producing sector of the economy during a press conference to herald a nationwide public enlightenment campaign on the sanitization of the lubricant market.
