Abuja — The Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF) led by Malam Adamu Ciroma moved yesterday to assuage fears expressed in some quarters against the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the consensus candidate of the presidential aspirants from the North, assuring that Atiku will not let the country down.
NPLF Secretary, Alhaji Bello Sabo Abdulkadir said in a statement yesterday that the need had arisen for clarification in some quarters that they were not consulted or contacted before the emergence of Atiku as the consensus candidate.
