Tanzania: Women Entrepreneurs Want Access to Financing

WOMEN entrepreneurs and those aspiring to do various kinds of businesses in Tanzania and other African countries are facing the same challenge of lack of financing as they are regarded as not credit worthy by the financial institutions.

Speaking during the Business Women's Networking forum held in Dar es Salaam on Thursday, Foundation for Community Development official, Ms Muchimba Sikumba said that in most African nations, financing, training and access to markets are the major challenges facing women entrepreneurs.
