Onitsha — The Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Emma Ojukwu had earlier explained at the project site that it was the first time water was struck in the university for more than 30 years now.

"We are going to landscape and green up the total environment and water the grounds, grasses and flower gardens. We are going to establish water fountains, swimming pools and fisheries for a luscious environment. The university community is most grateful to Engr. Arthur Eze", he said. He noted that "Eze is a household name in Nigeria well known to all of us whether from far or near" and recalled that "his love for humanity led the university's Senate to recommend him for a Doctor of Science (Honaris Causa) during the convocation ceremony of the university last November".
