Nigeria: JTF, John Togo's Kinsmen Trade Words Over Genocide

Yenagoa — The Authorities of the Joint Military Task Force code named 'Operation Restore Hope' yesterday showed signs of desperation in offering genuine and believable explanation on the recent invasion of Ayakoromo Community, in Burutu Local Council Area of Delta State, in which over a hundred civilians were claimed to have been killed during the military operation.

The Joint Military Task Force Commander, Major General Charles Omoregie said though the men of the task force did not deliberately attack or kill anyone during the operation in Ayakoromo community, those killed were those that shot at the men of the JTF behind civilian lines in the area.
