CfC Stanbic Bank plans to boost its capital by issuing a second bond in a transaction it hopes will give it more headroom to collect deposits.
Managing director Greg Brackenridge said the bank was seeking Sh2.5 billion to raise the margin of its core capital to deposit ratio, which is 0.6 percentage points shy of the legal limit.
