Angola: Cinfotec Trains 2,396 People

Luanda — About 2,396 people, mostly youths, received training from 2009 to 2010 at the Centre for Technological Training (CINFOTEC) in Luanda.

The information was provided to Angop by CINFOTEC deputy director-general for technology and pedagogy, Gilberto Figueira, on the fringes of the closing of the academic year at the institution.

According to the official, the trainees graduated in computer networking, maintenance, telecommunications, mechanical maintenance and others.

CINFOTEC is an Angolan Government-owned company that runs technological training for the country's development.

Inaugurated on September 2008, the centre has support of Angolan and foreign companies operating in the country.
