Sudan: Country Selected to Host Conference of Islamic Ministers of Tourism in 2012

the Iranian capital, Teheran, 30 November -1 December 2010. Minister of Tourism, Antiquities and Wildlife, Dr. Ahmed Babiker Nahar, told SUNA following his return from Tehran that the conference discussed the issues of Tourism in the Islamic countries and the means of developing this sector through disseminating the concept of the Islamic Tourism

Meanwhile, the Minister revealed that he met in the sideline of the meeting with the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmandi Nijad and discussed with him means of pushing forward Sudanese-Iranian relations

Dr. Nahar explained that the Iranian President affirmed the support of the Iranian government and people to the Sudan in the regional and international arena and asked him to convey his greetings to the President of the Republic, Omer Al-Bashir and the Sudanese people
