Angola: Citizens Arrested Over Illegal Border Crossing

Police have said they were yet aware of the motive of the killings.

Ondjiva — At least 13 people, among locals and foreigners, were detained over the past seven days for attempting to illegally cross the border between Angola and Namibia.

This number of infringements represents an increase of three cases as compared with the previous period.

The information was released Thursday by the spokesman for the provincial command of the National Police in southern Cunene province, Carlos dos Santos, who added that the detentions of the offenders occurred on the marks 7, 12 and 19.
