Ricky Hatton has been stripped of his license to box at a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) hearing but can still work as a promoter in the sport.
Hatton was found guilty of misconduct and also fined £20,000 following allegations about his use of cocaine. A BBBC statement said Hatton's "actions and behaviour were detrimental to the interests of boxing" and had "brought the sport into disrepute."
