Nigeria: EFCC Arrests Adamu Over N24 Billion COJA Funds, Bribe-for-Vote Scam

Abuja — Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested former Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Amos Adamu, over allegations of misappropriation of N24 billion COJA funds.

He is also to answer questions on his alleged involvement in the bribe-for-votes scandal which recently hit the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) as result of which he was suspended as a member from the body.
