Eritrea: Zak Dairy And Cattle-Breeding Plant Steps Up Efforts to Supply Standardized Products

Dekemhare — Zak Dairy and Cattle-breeding Plant in Dekemhare town is stepping up efforts to supply standardized products thanks to the support it receives from the Government.

Mr. Zekarias Fisehaye, owner of the Plant, stated that it is producing various dairy products. In a reply he gave to customers' complaints regarding the increasing price of its product, he claimed that the price is fair in view of the fact that the cost of production is high. Mr. Zekarias also disclosed that the Plant is currently engaged in the breeding of select cattle in collaboration with experts in the field.

Following the introduction of new equipment, Zak Dairy and Cattle-breeding Plant is in a position to process 500 liters of milk at a given time, according to reports.
