Attorney General Frederick Werema yesterday said he would not heed calls to resign over the controversy that was sparked by his stance on the thorny issues of Dowans compensation and the rage on constitutional review.
Mr Werema declared that he was unfazed by the backlash that greeted his apparent defending of a judgment that would see the government pay a whopping Sh186bn in compensation to Dowans, a power generating company that had its emergency power supply contract with Tanzania Electric Supply Company (Tanesco) terminated.
