Nigeria: Governor's Wife Tasks Children On Moral

Children have been reminded of the need to always exhibit good moral values anywhere they find themselves.

Wife of Imo State Governor, Chioma Ohakim, gave the admonition at a Christmas party she organised for children at the governor's country home, Okohia in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area.

Mrs. Ohakim enjoined the children to remain obedient to their parents and elders and also be committed to their studies to grow into responsible adults. She pointed out that the Christmas party, which was the first of its kind, was organised to give children in the area a sense of belonging as according to her, a similar one had also been organised for those in the state capital, Owerri.

The Imo First Lady further expressed her resolve in uplifting the health and social well-being of Imo children and wished them good health and success in the year 2011.

The children were treated to dances, recitations, cutting of Christmas cake and gifts.
