Mogadishu — The moderate group of Somalia's Ahlu Sunna Waljama' ASWJ warned gunmen who rob people in Mogadishu using the name of Benadir's Ahlu Sunna.

Sheikh Mohamoud Ahmed Shuriye, the spokesman of Modare Ahlu Sunna Waljama' in Benadir region said there are armed men who rob Mogadishu people particularly in Darkenley district under the guise of Ahlu Sunna fighters.

"They take illegal money from the busses travel in the streets of in a TFG controlled districts in Mogadishu. We shall punish them if we captured them" Shuriye told Shabelle Media Network.

Asked about where Ahlu Sunna fighters reside in Mogadishu, he replied their fighters are based in the battle-zones in the sea-side city.

Ahlu Sunna comments come days after an Ahlu Sunna fighter killed in a roadside bomb in a checkpoint in Mogadishu where gunmen daily take illegal money from the buses shuttle through Mogadishu neighborhoods.
