Nigeria: 'Health Officers Could Help Curb Building Collapse'

The incessant occurrences of building collapse in the country has been partly attributed to non involvement of Environmental Health officers, Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON) Registrar Mr. Augustine Ebisike has said.

He stated this recently at a press conference held in Abuja. Ebisike noted that Health Officers in their capacity as premises inspectors can have first hand information on any building that is prone to collapsing and help pass such information to relevant authorities.
