Nigeria: Obasanjo/Daniel Feud - Two Governorship Candidates Emerge

The lingering feud between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel yesterday reached a head with two gubernatorial candidates emerging on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Governor Gbenga Daniel's faction produced ex-chairman of Gateway Holdings Limited, Mr. Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka who polled 831 while former military administrator of Ekiti State, General Adetunji Olurin ( rtd) at a separate venue emerged winner of the primaries with 754 votes.
