Gambia: Boraba Lower Basic School Boosted

A group of Dutch philanthropists, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, donated educational materials and sporting gears to Boraba Lower Basic School, in Upper Fulladu West District, Central River Region (CRR), South. The items donated include exercise books, pens, pencils and sporting gears worth over one thousand euros.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the pioneer of the link, Lamin Susso, a native of Boraba Village, commended the philanthropists for their humanitarian gesture. He disclosed that the items will help reduce the burden on parents to buy such materials for their children. He also disclosed that the donors have promised to support the school in the area of agriculture and fencing.
