Sudan: President Al-Bashir Reviews Situation in Country With Egyptian Counterpart

Sharm Al-Sheikh — President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and the Egyptian President, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, Wednesday discussed the latest developments and the situation in Sudan as well as progress of the bilateral relations between Sudan and Egypt in all domains.

This came when the two presidents met on the sidelines of the Arab Economic Summit, currently in session in Sharm Al-Sheikh Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Ahmed Karti, said in a statement to SUNA the two presidents held prolonged discussions over the referendum of southern Sudan, besides the future situations and aspect of cooperation between the two countries.
