Yola — Ex-servicemen employed by the Adamawa State government as disciplinary sergeants in secondary schools have called for the intervention of Governor Murtala Nyako in the settlement of their one year salaries.
A spokesman of the ex-servicemen, Abba Inuwa, said they were seeking the governor's intervention because all efforts to get the arrears had failed. "As from June 2010, our allowances have been regular but the problem now is that we have outstanding one year arrears from June 2009 when we started to June 2010.
