Liberia: Judiciary Comptroller Cleared of Charges

The suspended Comptroller of the Judicial Branch of the Liberian government at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia, Otagba-Nah Klah, has implored Chief Justice Johnnie N. Lewis to reinstate him to his position after the Justice Ministry declared him not liable.

Chief Justice Lewis suspended Mr. Klah on July 6, 2009 for “time indefinite” pending a probe into allegations contained in reports to his (Chief Justice’s) office that he (Klah) was involved in the disappearance of US $30,150.00 from the account of the Judiciary.
