Deecision of Nigeria Basketball Federation to source another sponsor for it's the women's league might have been informed by positive response from a UK based management firm to invest heavily in the game in Nigeria.

President of the NBBF, Tijani Umar said that parties have signed a non-disclosure agreement until the deal is sealed.

"There was a meeting that was set up in London by a sports management group. It was a purely exploratory meeting.

"We found out that we could accommodate each other and we are exchanging papers now.

"When we meet next, we will now know what is fully on ground, what we are going to get and what they are also going to get," he projected.
