Nigeria: Missing Ship - Supreme Court Nullifies Agbiti's Trial

The Supreme Court has nullified the conviction of Rear Admiral Francis Agbiti by a General Court Martial which convicted and dismissed him from the Navy for allegedly allowing a seized ship to escape.

In a unanimous judgment, five justices of the apex court nullified Agbiti conviction on the grounds that he was not given a fair trial.
