Angola: Environment Minister for Creation of National Waters Control Brigades

Luanda — The co-ordinator of the Multisectorial Environment Commission, Maria de Fátima Jardim, defended on Thursday in Luanda the need of creating brigades for controlling and prevention of the national waters polluting.

Fátima Jardim, who chaired the meeting of the mentioned commission, was concerned about illegal navigators that pollute the national waters, a situation that endangers the maritime fauna and flora, among others.

Basing on this situation, the participants discussed the legislative programme of the legal office that expects to define a juridicial regime which meets the sustainable development policy.
