Yola — The former campaign director for Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Mr John Eddie Manassa, has been cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to run alongside the gubernatorial candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, retired Gen.Muhammadu Buba Marwa in the forthcoming April polls.

Recently dragged to court by ICPC for an alleged N240 million corruption case, Manassa, a former SSG under Gov. Murtala Nyako, served in the same capacity during Gov. Boni Haruna's first term in office.

Also on the list pasted at INEC office in Yola to slug-in with governor Nyako in the April election include: Markus Nalira Gindiri (ACN), Salihu Butu (Kowa Party), and Atiku Abubakar's in law Adamu Mu'azu Modibbo of the Labour Party (LP). Others are Maurice Vunobolki (NTP), Albert Watal Chidaus (MPPP),David D. Barau (PPN),Ahmad Usman (ANPP) and Prof.Joel P.Dada (APGA).
