Nigeria: Jonathan Suspends Campaign Activities

President Goodluck Jonathan has suspended all his presidential campaign activities following Saturday's crowd stampede during his campaign rally in Port-Harcourt which also claimed several lives.

According to a statement yesterday by the presidential spokesman Ima Niboro, the put off was to honour the victims.The statement reads: "President Jonathan has put off tomorrow's flag off of the Presidential Campaign in the states.
