Uganda's top ranked badminton player seed Edwin Ekiring has embarked on a plan to qualify for the Olympic Games set for London in 2012 by competing in the Iran Fajr International tournament.
Ekiring, currently on an international Olympic Solidariry scholarship, is using the Iran event to boost his world ranking.
Qualification for the London show will be based on individual players ranking on the world's badminton govening body.
