Dodoma — The government will collaborate with two institutions to produce quality seeds.
The deputy minister for Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives, Mr Christopher Chiza, told the House in Dodoma yesterday that the ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives would do so in collaboration with the Agriculture Seed Agency (ASA) and Uyole Agriculture Research Institute (ARI).
They would use the Suluti Seed Production centre to produce and supply certified seeds for farmers in the country, he explained.
Mr Chiza said the Suluti Seed Production Centre under the Uyole Agriculture Research Institute would continue to produce researched agricultural seedlings in the Southern Highlands.
