The Taiwan Technical Mission in the country and the Ministry of Agriculture Monday convened a one-day review and planning meeting of The Gambia Upland Rice Expansion Project at the conference hall of the National Nutrition Agency (NaNA) in Bakau.
The project is a four-year initiative targeting to speed up the process of attaining rice self-sufficiency in the country and to increase rural employment and income as well as saving and earning of foreign exchange among others.
