The Agricultural Development Corporation has announced plans to assist recovering drug addicts at the coast by offering training on agriculture to help them start income-generating activities. The corporation said it will use technical experts in the intervention to provide training.
Speaking in Malindi after distributing relief food to 50 recovering addicts from La Alba and Omari project rehabilitation centres, ADC's Coast regional manager Shadrack Jirma said other partners in the project would also intervene by providing medical assistance, civic education, financial support and counselling.
