Luanda — The 5th Congress of the Angolan ruling party's women wing (OMA), Wednesday in Luanda, approved a motion of support for the president of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, for his personal dedication to the conception and implementation of programmes intended to improve people's living.
The delegates reaffirmed their will and determination of OMA militants to remain united in support for the decisions and guidelines of the ruling MPLA party and its leader, José Eduardo dos Santos, for his engagement and leadership capacity showed in guiding the political strategy of the organisation and the Government.
They also recognised and attributed to the head of State the guarantee of political stability as a condition for the preservation of peace, national reconciliation and tranquillity of spirits, towards a harmonious social, economic and cultural development.
The 5th OMA Ordinary Congress that went from February 27 to March 2, in Luanda, was attended by 1,181 delegates from the countries 18 provinces and abroad.
