Lagos — Maersk Line has signed a contract with Korea's Daewoo Ship-building & Marine Engineering Company Ltd to build 10 of the world's largest and most efficient vessels in the Triple-E class, with an option for an additional 20 vessels.
This was disclosed in a statement by the media adviser to Maesk Nigeria Ltd Bolaji Akinola which said with these liners, Maersk will change entirely the shipping industry's understanding of size and efficiency.
