Nigeria: Aviation Workers Threaten Govt Over Political Appointment

Air Transport Service Senior Staff Association and the National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) have threatened a showdown with the Federal Government over the appointment of non- professionals into various positions in the aviation sector.

The unions said that the political appointees have become "a clog in the wheel of progress," especially in the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and  the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).
