Nigeria: I Was Forced to Sign Substitution Letter - Zamfara ACN Candidate

Alhaji Sarki Sirajo, the substituted governorship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Zamfara State has said that some party leaders from the state conspired and forced him to sign a letter of substitution against his will. He said he had to cave in for his welfare.

Sirajo stated this in Abuja yesterday while reacting to media report which quoted state chairman of the party Alhaji Salihu Mai Buhu Gummi, as saying that he (Sirajo) "voluntarily" withdrew from the race when he discovered that his "private business was recording set back."
