In 2007, retired Major General Abdullahi Garba was the governorship candidate of the Action Congress in Niger State. Now he is challenging Senator Zainab Kure (PDP), wife of the former governor of the state, on the platform of the ACN. In this interview, Gen. Garba addresses the political issues on ground that he believes will give opposition candidates an edge over those of the ruling PDP. Excerpts:
