Angola: Police Install Border Guard Units Along Coast

Luanda — The National Police will this year install units of border guard along the Angolan coast, said the second general commander of National Police, chief-commissioner Paulo de Almeida while delivering four maritime surveillance vessels to the Tax Police in Luanda.

"We will install units of border guard along Angolan coast on land to make an efficient and more complete work" he said.

According to the Police top officer, besides the nautical facilities there is a need to equip the organ with decent facilities, short range radars for effective monitoring of the coastal zone.
