Tunis — After the powerful earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan , causing heavy human losses and a great number of wounded, Caretaker President Foued Mebazaa sent a message of condolences and sympathy to emperor Akihito .
The President extended in this message sincere condolences as well as sympathy to the friendly Japanese people.
