Tunis — The Ras Jedir crossing point registered, during the last 24 hours, the arrival of 3,020 new refugees in Tunisia including 1,214 Libyan nationals and 1,204 Ghanians.
Seven flights have been organised, on Sunday morning, at Djerba-Zarzis International Airport to repatriate the refugees including four flights to Bangladesh and two to Sudan.
Despite the efforts of repatriation, a large number of displaced still stay in the "Choucha" camp.
In another connection, some 1,000 Ghanians, without passports, have been stranded in the Tunisian-Libyan border, pending the authorisation to enter the Tunisian soil.
Cleanliness campaigns have been organised, on Sunday morning, in the "Choucha" camp with the participation of volunteers coming to help the interveners on the spot.
Besides, The Tunisian film-maker association, the Tunisian actors' trade union and the Ben Guerdane Scout Movement organised recreational and animation programmes for the refugees.
